A Few Ideas about Immigration

Recently, Liberal Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina made the following idiotic comments:

To my colleagues who come on the floor to tear this bill down with no alternative, you’re not doing this country a service, and I will push back.

If you’ve got a better idea, you can lead us to a better solution. I’m all for it. But if all you’re going to do is say no and embrace the status quo, I’m going to be your biggest critic.

Well, I have a few comments and ideas about what you can do:

1.  You say that there will be triggers and controls over the border after they get legal status.  I submit that we have heard that song and dance before during the Reagan Administration and you politicians in Washington have proven that you don’t have what it takes to close the border and protect the citizens of the United States and are simply doing this for political purposes.  You are selling out the security of our nation to big business for what you hope will be a new voting block.  Shame on you.

2.  I also submit to you that there are truly good, honest and hard working folk who came here legally and have worked their butts off for ten or more years, and have even passed the citizenship test, but still have not been granted citizenship.  Why?  I am guessing it is because they are waiting for the criminals to cut in line in front of them with your blessing.

3.  I, therefore submit the following proposals to make it true comprehensive immigration reform:  Close the border first, establish an orderly and fair system of legal immigration, prove to us first that you have the intestinal fortitude to enforce the law, and give those who do things the right way their citizenship in a timely manner instead of punishing them by moving the criminals ahead of the line for political purposes.  Then we can talk about what we want to do with the 12 million criminals that are still here illegally.  I would hope by then, however, they will either not be here or will be applying to come legally.

3.  No amnesty.  Stop playing politics and selling the country to La Raza and big business. 

My guess is that Graham and the rest of the liberals in Washington won’t even listen to these suggestions, but keep in mind that there is another election coming up.  I don’t care of you are Democrat or a Republican.  If you are going to be a liberal, you have a mental disorder (oh no, did I just commit a hate crime – thought crime?) and have no business being a leader of our nation.  America, wake up and vote the bums out  or stop your griping and complaining when you lose your job to an illegal and our nation is attacked again.
